Wow.. what an incredibly unspectacular movie. The basic plot idea - though not new - was moving enough and the script gave a fair share of chances that could have made for some exciting twists and turns. Sadly, every single one of those was implemented with a consistent boring lack of fantasy and so poofed into nothingness. The horrendous and sometimes completely dispensable dialoges didn’t help. On the contrary, sometimes even gave the expression of multiple characters being.. a bit slow, shall we say. The only good thing about this movie was indeed George Clooney, who - considering the boundaries set for him by script and writing - did an amazingly good job. Kudos.
Still, the fact remains: one of the most boring movies I’ve seen in a long time, that at times got me so lethargic I even forgot to actually care about what was happening.
